The Colorado State Rams face the NC State Wolfpack Thursday in the college basketball NIT Quarterfinal at the Comerica Center.

The NC State Wolfpack look for another win after beating Davidson in the first round. The NC State Wolfpack are averaging 73.5 points on 47.3 percent shooting and allowing 69.4 points on 44.8 percent shooting. Devon Daniels is averaging 16.5 points and 5.2 rebounds while Jericole Hellems is averaging 12.8 points and 5.1 rebounds. DJ Funderburk is the third double-digit scorer and Manny Bates is grabbing 5.9 rebounds. The NC State Wolfpack are shooting 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free throw line. The NC State Wolfpack are allowing 34.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 29.5 rebounds per game.

The Colorado State Rams look for another win after beating Buffalo in the first round. The Colorado State Rams are averaging 75.9 points on 48.2 percent shooting and allowing 65.8 points on 41.1 percent shooting. David Roddy is averaging 16.1 points and 9.5 rebounds while Isaiah Stevens is averaging 15 points and 4.6 rebounds. Kendle Moore is the third double-digit scorer and Adam Thistlewood is grabbing 3.9 rebounds. The Colorado State Rams are shooting 36.8 percent from beyond the arc and 79.7 percent from the free throw line. The Colorado State Rams are allowing 29.9 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 32 rebounds per game.

The Wolfpack are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Rams are 26-9 ATS in their last 35 Thursday games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The over is 5-2 in Wolfpack last 7 overall. The under is 7-2 in Rams last 9 overall.

The NC State Wolfpack have looked like a different team over the last month or so, which includes a road win over Virginia, but they’re still a club that can struggle defensively and that’s not what you want when going up against a balanced Colorado State club. The Colorado State Rams are one of the more balanced teams in the country, especially on offense and they win in the favorite role by an average of 17.1 points while shooting 50.8 percent from the field. If the Rams get comfortable early in this game, it’s over. Give me the Rams in this toss up.
