The George Mason Patriots and the Nevada Wolf Pack meet in college basketball action from the Samford Sports Pentagon on Tuesday night.

The George Mason Patriots come into this game looking to bounce back from a 77-74 loss at the hands of Washington in their last game. Josh Oduro leads the Patriots in scoring with 16.7 PPG along with 6 RPG while D’Shawn Schwartz has 14 PPG with 6 RPG as well. DeVon Cooper has 13.8 PPG with 2.8 APG and Davonte Gaines has 12.8 PPG with a team-high 9 RPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for GMU up to this point in the year. As a team, George Mason is averaging 70.7 PPG on 47.4% shooting from the field, 40.9% from three and 72.8% from the foul line while allowing 63.5 PPG on 39.8% shooting from the field and 31.8% from three this season.

The Nevada Wolf Pack will be looking to shake off a 102-75 loss at the hands of South Dakota State last time out. Desmond Cambridge Jr. leads the Wolf Pack in scoring with 15.4 PPG with 4.4 RPG and 3 APG while Grant Sherfield has 14 PPG and a team-high 6.2 APG. Warren Washington’s got 13.8 PPG with 6.6 RPG to lead Nevada on the glass while Will Baker and AJ BRamah each have double figures scoring per game as well to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Nevada this season. As a team, Nevada is averaging 75.6 PPG on 44.2% shooting from the field, 35.9% from three and 76.6% from the foul line while allowing 84.4 PPG on 49.7% from the floor and 39.8% from three this season.

George Mason is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. Nevada is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog while the over is 8-2 in their last 10 games overall.

I get why you’d look at both sides here as Nevada has to be better that what we’ve seen and George Mason looked sluggish early but looked good in rallying despite the loss to Washington. Instead, I’m going to side with the over as points have had no issue coming in bunches when these two are on the floor and I expect Tuesday to e no different.
