The Vanderbilt Commodores and the Pitt Panthers meet in college basketball action from the Petersen Events Center on Wednesday night.

The Vanderbilt Commodores come into this game looking to add to a 77-63 win over Winthrop in their last game. Jordan Wright leads the Commodores in scoring with 18.8 PPG along with 5.3 RPG while Scotty Pippen Jr. has 16.5 PPG with 3.8 RPG as well to finish off the pair of double-digit scorers for Vandy so far this season. Jamaine Mann has a team-high 6 RPG as well this season. As a team, Vanderbilt is averaging 71 PPG on 40.9% shooting from the field, 28% from three and 69.5% from the foul line while allowing 60.8 PPG on 39.9% shooting from the field and 34.1% from three this season.

The Pitt Panthers will try to build on their 63-59 win over Towson last time out. John Hugley leads Pitt in scoring and rebounding with 16 PPG and 8 RPG while Femi Odukale has 11.5 PPG and a team-high 3.8 APG to make up the pair of double-digit scorers so far this campaign. Jamarius Burton also has 9 PPG as well for the Panthers. As a team, Pitt is averaging 61 PPG on 44.9% shooting from the field, 24.4% from three and 55.3% from the foul line while allowing 85.5 PPG on 40.6% from the field and 32.4% from three this season.

Vanderbilt is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a road favorite and 11-3-4 ATS in their last 18 games overall while the under is 5-0 in their last 5 games following an ATS win. Pitt is 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall.

These are two teams that I don’t trust as far as I can throw them and realistically, probably two teams that will finish in the basement of their respective conferences this season. With that said, it may be the obvious play after what I just stated, but I’m going with the under here. I have no faith in either offense and this feels like a first to 60 wins kind of game.
