The Duke Blue Devils come into this game looking to add to their 7-0 mark after an 84-81 win over Gonzaga last time out. Paolo Banchero leads the Blue Devils in scoring and rebounding with 18.3 PPG and 7.6 RPG while Wendell Moore Jr. has 17.9 PPG with 6.3 RPG and a team-high 5.7 APG as well this season. Trevor Keels has 12.3 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Duke so far this season while Mark Williams has 9.9 PPG with 6.4 RPG and Jeremy Roach has 9 PPG and 3.3 APG as well this season. As a team, Duke is averaging 85.6 PPG on 48.7% shooting from the field, 33.1% from three and 74.6% from the foul line while allowing 64.6 PPG on 41.3% shooting from the field and 31.7% from three this season.

I get the case to be made for Duke here as they’re a super talented team once again and Paolo Banchero has a strong argument to be a player to watch this season. However, I think Banchero’s a big banged up coming into this one and while I’ve been critical in the past of Ohio State’s scoring depth, Liddell is starting to get help here and there and I think the Buckeyes aren’t getting enough credit, despite what my recent criticisms would suggest. Give me the Buckeyes to open some eyes with a cover here.
