The Fordham Rams and the Saint Louis Billikens meet in college basketball action from the Chaifetz Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Fordham Rams will look to build on back-to-back wins after a 72-71 win over Duquesne last time out. Antonio Daye Jr. leads the Rams in scoring with 16.8 PPG and in assists with 3.3 APG while Darius Quisenberry has 16.5 PPG with 4.4 RPG and Chuba Ohams has 14.5 PPG with a team-high 11.6 RPG, averaging a double-double per game to lead the Rams on the glass and cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Fordham up to this point in the season. As a team, Fordham is averaging 72.7 PPG on 41.8% shooting from the field, 30.6% from three and 73% from the foul line while allowing 68.4 PPG on 42.6% shooting from the field and 31% from three this season.

The Saint Louis Billikens will try to bounce back from a 68-63 loss to Dayton last time out. Gibson Jimerson leads the Billikens in scoring with 16.5 PPG while Marten Linssen has 10.1 PPG with 4.3 RPG and Jordan Nesbitt has 9.9 PPG with 4.5 RPG as well this season. Yuri Collins has 10.7 PPG with a team-high 7.7 APG while Francis Okoro has a team-high 7.4 RPG as well for the Billikens up to this point in the season. Terrence Hargrove Jr. also has 9 PPG with 5.5 RPG this season. As a team, Saint Louis is averaging 79.5 PPG on 45.9% shooting from the field, 37% from three and 77% from the foul line while allowing 68 PPG on 41.9% shooting from the field and 31.1% from three this season.

Fordham is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600. Saint Louis is 18-8-1 ATS in their last 27 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games against a team with a losing road record while the under is 23-11-1 in their last 35 Saturday games.

I get why Saint Louis would be favored at home, but the issue I have is that it’s been Fordham that’s been playing the better basketball as of late, which still feels weird to say. I do think Saint Louis wins this game, but Fordham’s more than capable of keeping this one within single digits, so give me the Rams and the points.
