The Colorado Buffaloes and the Oregon Ducks meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Matthew Knight Arena. Colorado is sitting at 12-6 on the year so far. The Buffaloes lost to UCLA in their last appearance. As for Oregon, they’re 12-6 as well and coming off a weekend win over Washington. Colorado jumped out to a nice 11-3 run in their first 14 games, losing to only Southern Illinois, UCLA and Tennessee. It’s been a 1-3 stretch since then, however. The Buffaloes have a win over Arizona State amid losses to Arizona, USC and UCLA in that time.

In the UCLA game, the Buffaloes fell behind 43-28 after one half. Colorado went on a 37-28 run from there but couldn’t’ catch up in a 71-65 loss. Leading the Buffaloes in scoring was Jabari Walker with 19 points and seven rebounds.

Over on the Oregon side, their year began on a spotty 6-6 run with losses to BYU, Saint Mary’s, Houston, Arizona State, Stanford and Baylor. Since then it’s been six straight wins over Pepperdine, Utah, Oregon State, UCLA, USC and Washington.

Matched up against Washington on Sunday, the Ducks drilled the opposition 48-13 in the first half. Oregon would then cruise to an 84-56 blowout victory. Will Richardson was the high man with 21 points, three rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes of work.

The Ducks are 2-6 ATS in the last eight after an ATS win and 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. Oregon is 7-20-1 ATS in the last 28 Tuesday games.

Meanwhile, the Buffaloes are 22-52-1 ATS in their last 75 road games and 5-12-2 ATS in their last 19 overall. Colorado is 0-5 ATS in their last five Tuesday games.

PICK: I’m going to stay with Oregon here. The Ducks are on fire over their last six games, and they’ve taken out notable teams like UCLA and USC in that stretch. Oregon has been scoring pretty well with 68 or more points in nine straight matchups.

As for Colorado, they’ve struggled lately against ranked teams during this 1-3 stretch. The Buffaloes have been putting up points well otherwise though, with 75 or more in each of their last three wins. If the Ducks get going on offense early here however, I don’t think Colorado will be able to keep the cover pace.
