The Oklahoma State Cowboys will travel to Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena to take on the TCU Horned Frogs this Tuesday night in College Basketball action.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys snapped their 4-game losing streak and improved to 11-11 on the season after defeating the Oklahoma Sooners, 64-55, this past Saturday. Oklahoma State was outstanding on the defensive end against Oklahoma and pulled away from the Sooners after taking a 54-44 lead with 3:37 left in regulation. Oklahoma State shot 48.0% from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc while holding Oklahoma to 37.7% shooting from the field & 27.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Cowboys was Moussa Cisse who had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block, & 2 steals.

On the season, Oklahoma State is averaging 69.2 ppg on 43.5% shooting from the field. The Cowboys are averaging 5.5 three-pointers per game on 30.2% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Oklahoma State has been led by Avery Anderson III (11.0 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 2.2 apg, 2.0 spg), Bryce Thompson (10.3 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.0 apg), Bryce Williams (10.1 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 3.3 apg, 1.8 spg), & Isaac Likekele (7.2 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.7 apg, 1.4 spg).

Defensively, Oklahoma State is holding their opponents to an average of 62.5 ppg on 40.5% shooting from the field. The Cowboys have a rebound margin of 10.0 and a turnover margin of -1.1.

The TCU Horned Frogs had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 15-5 on the season after being defeated by the Kansas State Wildcats, 75-63, this past Saturday. TCU could get nothing going on the offensive end against Kansas State and could not fight back after the Wildcats took a 57-42 lead with 10:26 left in regulation. TCU shot 39.3% from the field & 21.4% from beyond the arc while allowing Kansas State to shoot 46.4% from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Horned Frogs was Damion Baugh who had 17 points, 4 rebounds, & 2 assists.

On the season, TCU is averaging 68.8 ppg on 43.1% shooting from the field. The Horned Frogs are averaging 5.8 three-pointers per game on 29.4% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, TCU has been led by Mike Miles (15.4 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 4.2 apg, 1.2 spg), Damion Baugh (10.5 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 3.8 apg, 1.4 spg), Emanuel Miller (10.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.0 apg), & Chuck O’Bannon Jr. (9.7 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.0 spg). Mike Miles missed the Horned Frogs last game due to a wrist injury and is questionable for this matchup.

Defensively, TCU is holding their opponents to an average of 62.5 ppg on 40.5% shooting from the field. The Horned Frogs have a rebound margin of 10.0 and a turnover margin of -1.1.

The Cowboys are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS win & 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. The Horned Frogs 11-7-2 ATS overall on the season, however, are just 1-8 ATS in their last 9 Tuesday games.

TCU is coming off a tough loss at Kansas State and it clearly showed that missing their leading scorer in Mike Miles had a major effect on the Horned Frogs offensive attack. Oklahoma State is just 2-5 on the road this season, however, they do have a quality road win at Baylor, and as I think the Cowboys defense which ranks 107th in scoring defense & 39th in defensive FG% will give TCU trouble, I think the play here is to take Oklahoma State and the points. Good Luck!
