The Portland Pilots and the San Francisco Dons meet in college basketball action from the War Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday night.

The Portland Pilots will try to snap a three-game losing streak after a 74-71 loss to San Francisco last time out. Tyler Robertson leads the Pilots across the board with team-highs of 14.4 PPG, 6.4 RPG and 3.9 APG while Chris Austin has 14.3 PPG with 5.1 RPG this season. Moses Wood has 13 PPG with 6 RPG and Mike Meadows has 10.6 PPG with 3.5 RPG and 3.2 APG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Portland so far this season. As a team, Portland is averaging 71.8 PPG on 42.6% shooting from the field, 32.9% from three and 80.2% from the foul line while allowing 72.6 PPG on 42.2% shooting from the field and 33.7% from three this season.

The San Francisco Dons will look to keep their momentum going after taking down the Pilots in the first meeting between the two. Jamaree Bouyea leads the Dons in scoring and assists with 18.2 PPG and 3.8 APG while Yauhen Massalski leads the Dons on the glass with 9.2 RPG along with 14.5 PPG and Khalil Shabazz has 12.3 PPG for San Francisco to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for the Dons so far this season. As a team, San Francisco is averaging 76.3 PPG on 46.6% shooting from the field, 35.1% from three and 69.5% from the foul line while allowing 66.2 PPG on 42% shooting from the field and 29.4% from three this season.

Portland is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games against a team with a winning home record and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games against a team with a home winning percentage above .600 while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 games following a loss. San Francisco is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favortie and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games against a team with a road winning percentage below .400 while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 home games.

I get the case to be made either way in this one, as the Pilots are capable of sneaking in the back door for a cover but a 20+ point win for the Dons wouldn’t surprise me either. Instead, I’m going to side with the over. These two teams just battled to a total of 145 in the last meeting and I think this is a similar type of game where we sail over the total in this one so give me the over.
