Fordham vs Binghamton 12/9/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Binghamton Bearcats and the Fordham Rams meet in college basketball action from the Rose Hill Gymnasium on Friday night.

The Binghamton Bearcats will be out to snap a four-game losing skid after their 81-62 loss to Colgate last time out. Jacob Falko leads the Bearcats in scoring and assists with 14.2 PPG and 3.7 APG along with 4.1 RPG while John McGriff has 11 PPG and Miles Gibson has 10.8 PPG with a team-high 5.4 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Binghamton up to this point in the season. As a team, Binghamton is averaging 68.7 PPG on 44.3% shooting from the field, 30.1% from three and 69.7% from the foul line this season.

The Fordham Rams will hope to keep the winning ways going after a 72-59 win over Wagner last time out. Darius Quisenberry has a team-high 18.4 PPG along with 3.7 RPG and 3.1 APG while Khalid Moore has 14.4 PPG with 5.7 RPG this season. Kyle Rose has 10 PPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for Fordham so far this year while Antrell Charlton has 7.9 PPG with 4.2 RPG and 4.6 APG to lead the Rams in the assist department this season. Abdou Tsimbila also has a team-high 7.6 RPG as well on the year. As a team, Fordham is averaging 73.9 PPG on 45.5% shooting from the field, 35.5% from three and 75.3% from the foul line this season.

Binghamton is  1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600. Fordham is 4-17 ATS in their last 21 Friday games and 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 home games against a team with a losing road record while the under is 7-0 in their last 7 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400.

I get the reasoning for backing either one of these two here, but I’m going to look at Fordham. The Rams had the cupboards left stocked when Kyle Neptune bolted for Villanova, but that has just seemingly put fuel on the fire for Fordham who have taken no prisoners early on this season. Binghamton’s battled hard in spots, but they haven’t really beaten anyone to suggest that they’d be a formidable opponent here. Give me the Fordham Rams in this one.
