Arkansas vs Georgia Pick – Basketball Predictions & Odds 2/21/23

The Georgia Bulldogs and the Arkansas Razorbacks meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Bud Walton Arena. Georgia is sitting at 16-11 on the season. The Bulldogs lost to Alabama in their last outing. As for Arkansas, they’re 18-9 following a Saturday win over Florida. Georgia Bulldogs 

The Bulldogs managed a 13-7 run over their first 20 games of the season, fighting their way through some tough teams. Georgia is just 3-4 in their last seven outings however, falling to Auburn, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Alabama during that time. 

In the Alabama matchup on Saturday, the Bulldogs were drilled 54-25 in the first half alone. Georgia didn’t get any closer on a 54-34 second half and lost 108-59. Justin Hill led the team with 17 points and two rebounds. 

Arkansas Razorbacks 

Over on the Arkansas side, they were slightly better through 20 games with a 14-6 record. The Razorbacks are 4-3 since then with wins over Texas A&M, South Carolina, Kentucky and Florida alongside losses to Baylor, Mississippi State and Texas A&M. 

Matched up against Florida in the Saturday game, the Razorbacks went into the locker room up 37-31. Arkansas hit a 47-34 advantage from there and cruised to an 84-65 win. Jalen Graham posted 26 points and Makhi Mitchell added 10 points with 10 rebounds. 

ANDREW’S FREE PICK 

I’ll stick with Arkansas in this one. The Razorbacks bounced back from consecutive losses pretty well in their last outing and didn’t have a ton of trouble with Florida on Saturday. Arkansas has been a mixed bag scoring-wise, though; they’ve been at 65 or fewer points in three of the last five. As for Georgia, they didn’t get anywhere close to Alabama in their last game but they had consecutive wins going before that. I like this one to be pretty close, but if the Razorbacks play to their capabilities at home I think they’ll be fine.
