The Brown Bears and the Bryant Bulldogs meet Friday in college basketball action from Chace Athletic Center. Here’s a Bryant vs Brown prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Bryant vs Brown pick.
Brown Bears Betting Preview
Brown skidded to a 1-3 start this year featuring losses to Siena, Maine, and Holy Cross. Since then it’s been four straight wins however, as the Bears have beaten Sacred Heart, Canisius, Stony Brook, and Vermont.
In the Vermont game on Tuesday, the Bears were up by three points going into the second half. Brown kept it up on a 29-25 run from there and won 60-53. Leading team scorer Kino Lilly finished with 23 points and three assists.
Bryant Bulldogs Betting Preview
Over on the Bryant side, they went 3-3 in their first six this year, beating Dean College, Buffalo, and Delaware along the way. It’s been a 2-1 run since then with wins over Tennessee State and Drexel around a loss to Chattanooga.
In Monday’s game versus Drexel, the Bulldogs held a 37-32 edge in the locker room. Bryant cruised from there on 41 more points and won 78-73. Rafael Pinzon topped the team with 31 points, and Earl Timberlake doubled on 23 points and 12 boards.

- Bryant has lost the first half in each of its last nine night games against the Ivy League at Chace Athletic Center.
Bryant vs Brown Prediction
I’ll stick with Brown. The Bears didn’t shoot great (41.4 percent) in their latest win over Vermont, but they notched a 37-33 rebounding advantage and had just six turnovers. The 60 points was a pretty low-scoring outing for Brown so far. They’ve hit 76 or more points in four of five wins.
As for Bryant, they were outmuscled on the boards 43-40 by Drexel in their last outing but shot well (44.3 percent) while holding the Dragons to just 39.7 percent on the other side. Bryant is scoring quite well over their last four games with 70 or more points in each. The Bulldogs have been giving up some healthy points totals in those games though: 73 or more points in each. Brown should have plenty of openings (or at least enough to keep a cover pace) on Thursday.
