The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and the Cal State Fullerton Titans meet Saturday in college basketball action from Titan Gym.

Hawaii enters this matchup at 3-4 on the season. As for Cal State Fullerton, they’re sitting at 4-4 this year. This will be a rematch of Friday’s game featuring these teams. In that one, Cal State Fullerton posted a 16-point win. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Hawaii began their season with three straight victories, taking out Hawaii Pacific, Hawaii-Hilo and UC Riverside. The Rainbow Warriors began a losing skid after that however, falling to UC Riverside and twice to Cal State Bakersfield, 60-55 and 83-72.

In Friday’s matchup against the Titans, Hawaii fell behind 42-35 at halftime and ended up falling 83-67. Leading the Warriors in scoring there was Justin Webster with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Over on the Cal State Fullerton side, they took a win in their opener versus SDCC, but then fell in their next three to UC Santa Barbara (twice) and Long Beach State. After a win over Long Beach State, the Titans split their next pair of games versus Cal State Northridge.

In Friday’s victory over the Warriors, Cal State Fullerton’s Tray Maddox notched 23 points with two rebounds and two assists. Dante Maddox added 20 points and four boards as well.

The Titans are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 Saturday games and the over is 7-2 in their last nine Saturday games. Cal State Fullerton is 9-22-1 ATS in their last 32 home games and 13-27 ATS in their last 40 games as an underdog.

Meanwhile, the Warriors are 1-7 ATS in their last eight Saturday games and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Hawaii is 1-8 ATS in their last nine games as a favorite and the under is 5-1 in their last six games as a favorite.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Hawaii. The Warriors notched some solid points totals over their first few games, and hit 68 or more in five of their first six outings. Friday’s matchup was something of a defensive lapse overall, and I think Hawaii will come back with a better game plan here. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a higher points total from both teams either.

Andrew's Free Pick: Hawaii Rainbow Warriors -2
