The Penn State Nittany Lions and the Colorado State Rams meet in college basketball action from the TD Arena on Sunday.

The Penn State Nittany Lions will look to rebound from a 61-59 loss to Virginia Tech last time out. Jalen Pickett leads the Nittany Lions in scoring and assists with 14.4 PPG and 8.4 APG while Andrew Funk has 12.6 PPG this season. Myles Dread and Seth Lundy each have 10.8 PPG to make up the scoring in double figures for Penn State this season, with Lundy posting a team-high 6 RPG as well this season. As a team, Penn State is averaging 76.6 PPG on 49.1% shooting from the field, 44.3% from three and 73.8% from the foul line this season.

The Colorado State Rams will hope to rebound from a 74-64 loss to Charleston last time out. John Tonje leads the Rams in scoring with 13.4 PPG and shares the team lead in rebounding with 4.8 RPG this season. Isaiah Rivera has 12.2 PPG with 4 RPG and Patrick Cartier has 10.6 PPG with 3.2 RPG this season. James Moore has 10 PPG with 4.8 RPG of his own to cap off the scoring in double figures for Colorado State this season while Taviontae Jackson has 3.8 APG to lead the Rams in assists. As a team, Colorado State is averaging 74.2 PPG on 52.2% shooting from the field, 39.1% from three and 63.2% from the foul line this season.

Penn State is 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win and 5-0 ATs in their last 5 games following a loss while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600. Colorado State is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 Sunday games.

I get the case to be made either way here, but I like the value of the points with the Rams in this one. Penn State has had a solid win over Furman and narrowly lost to Virginia Tech, but the Rams have had the most dominant performance of the two here in dominating South Carolina. I think this is a spot where if Penn State wins, they win by 2 or 3 points. I’ll take Colorado State and the points here.
