Air Force Takes Out LIU

The Air Force Falcons come into this one looking to build on their 82-67 win over LIU in their last matchup to improve to 1-1 on the year. Ethan Taylor leads Air Force in scoring and assists with 18.5 PPG and 5.5 RPG while also logging a team-high 2 SPG in addition to 7 RPG while Beau Becker has 17 PPG with 6.5 RPG as the only other Falcon averaging double-digits in scoring through the first two games of the year. Kellan Boylan leads the Falcons on the glass, pulling down a team-high 10.5 RPG this season. As a team, Air Force is averaging 68.5 PPG on 45.7% shooting from the field, 33.3% from behind the arc and 59.5% from the foul line this season.

Delaware Improves To 2-0

The Delaware Blue Hens come into this one looking to build on their 101-68 win over subdivision Goldy-Beacom last time out. Cavan Reilly has a team-high 14.5 PPG with 4.5 RPG while Tyler Houser’s added 12.5 PPG with 5 RPG this season. Gerald Drumgoole Jr. and Niels Lane each have 11.5 PPG with Drumgoole Jr. adding 4.5 RPG and 4 APG and Lane chipping in 4 RPG to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Delaware through two games this season. Christian Ray also has a team-high 11.5 RPG while Jalun Trent has team-highs of 5.5 APG, 2 SPG and 3 BPG this season. As a team, Delaware is averaging 89.5 PPG on 55.1% shooting from the field, 46.5% from three and 54.3% from the foul line this season.

I’m rolling with Delaware here. I’ll give Air Force credit for the tougher schedule through two games and getting their first win last time out, but I just like the scoring depth that Delaware’s shown through their first couple of games and also being at home will help the cause here. Give me the Blue Hens laying the points in this one.
