Down Year for Syracuse?
It looks like it could be a down year for Syracuse and on Tuesday they really struggled against Tennessee. The offense only scored 25 points in the first half and in the second half the defense was awful giving up 43 points. Chris Bell did have a strong game putting up 16 points and one rebound. Two games ago against Colgate, Syracuse only won by four points and this is going to be another great test for them. Syracuse on the season is averaging 76.8 points while their defense is giving up 74.3 points per game.

Gonzaga Blows First Half Lead
Gonzaga looked like they might pick up a huge win over the Purdue Boilermakers on Monday, but in the second half they were outscored 43-28 and that led to the 73-63 defeat. Graham Ike was the top player for Gonzaga putting up 14 points and seven rebounds. There were three different players that finished with at least 11 points. Gonzaga on the season is averaging 90.7 points while their defense is giving up 67 points per game. In this game it’s going to be about having a complete game.

Gonzaga is going to bounce back in a big way. This Syracuse team isn’t very good and their defense is going to be a major issue here. Syracuse is giving up 74.3 points per game and Gonzaga is going to go well over that number here. Syracuse might keep it close for a half, but in the second half Gonzaga is going to pull away and it will be the Bulldogs that cover the spread.
