Syracuse stuck around for most of the game against Tennessee on Monday, but the Volunteers pulled away late. Tennessee scored 43 points in the second half and they ended up winning by 17 points. Dalton Knecht had a strong game putting up 17 points, four rebounds, and three assists. The Volunteers on the season are averaging 78.8 points while their defense is giving up 57.3 points per game. In this game, the defense is going to need to step up in a big way.

Shane’s Free Pick
I am really concerned about how Syracuse was able to stick with Tennessee and it’s going to really hurt them in this game. Purdue is averaging 89.3 points per game and they're going to have no issue running up the score here. The Volunteers are going to really struggle in this game and that is going to be the difference as Purdue is going to get the job done. Back Purdue against the spread.
