UTRGV Vaqueros

In the rematch with Stephen F. Austin on Saturday, the Vaqueros were down 37-31 going into the second half. UTRGV didn’t get any closer on a 45-41 second half and lost 82-72. Leading the way was Justin Johnson with 23 points and seven rebounds.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably stay with Grand Canyon. The Antelopes didn’t play all that well versus a pretty good Seattle team in their last outing, but they’ve been putting up some good offensive efforts during this current 3-2 stretch. Grand Canyon has hit 75 or more points in three of those five and should score pretty well here also. As for UTRGV, they’ve been struggling in their current 2-6 run, however they’ve hit 68 or more points in two of the last three games. All things considered however, it’ll probably be tough for the Vaqueros to keep a cover pace in this one.
