The Marquette Golden Eagles come into this one looking to build on their 86-65 win over Texas last time out. Kam Jones leads the Golden Eagles in scoring with 16.4 PPG along with 2.9 RPG and 2.4 APG while Oso Ighodaro has 12.2 PPG with a team-high 6.3 RPG to lead the Golden Eagles on the glass. Tyler Kolek has 15.1 PPG with 5.1 RPG and 5.3 APG to lead the Golden Eagles in assists and to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Marquette up to this point in the year. As a team, Marquette is averaging 80 PPG on 48.4% shooting from the field, 33.5% from three and 70.1% from the foul line this season.

Notre Dame vs. Marquette Prediction

I’m backing the Golden Eagles here. I just feel like the Irish are way overmatched here and are on the way to being the worst team in the ACC this season. Marquette is just a far better team and are coming off of the much more impressive blowout win last time out and if you can pick apart Texas, you can surely blow away Notre Dame. Give me Marquette.
