Over on the Marshall side, they were able to win five of their first six before hitting a three-game losing streak. I’ll stick with South Alabama. The Jaguars need an improved effort here after a tight victory on the road versus Arkansas State over the weekend, though. South Alabama shot just 38.9 percent from the field in that one with a 54-34 rebounding deficit and only 16 points in the paint. The Jaguars get credit for powering out the road victory however, and they’ve now won six of their last seven.

As for Marshall, they gave up 51.7 percent shooting from the field in their loss to Georgia Southern on Saturday. The Herd shot 42.4 percent themselves alongside 12 turnovers and a 32-28 rebounding disadvantage. Marshall is 1-2 in their last three games but they’ve won three of the last five. The Herd can make this one interesting if they get back on point.
