NC State Wolfpack Betting Preview
Over on the NC State side, they’ve got four games in the bag this year. The Wolfpack opened up the season with a blowout win over NC Central on November 3, taking that one 114-66. Another big win came in game two over UAB, as NC State rolled to a 94-70 victory. Likewise for their third matchup of the season versus UNC Greensboro; the Wolfpack bagged a 110-64 blowout victory there.
Last Monday in their most recent game versus VCU, the Wolfpack held a rather modest 39-35 edge by halftime. NC State closed on a tight 46-44 run in the second half, eventually powering out a rather close win 85-79 in the end. Darrion Williams put up 28 points with seven rebounds to lead the team, and Tre Holloman added 25 points with four rebounds for the Wolfpack in the winning effort.

I’ll take a stab on Seton Hall here. The Pirates blew past an overmatched New Haven team in their latest outing, rolling to 48.1 percent shooting with a 35-24 rebounding advantage along the way. Seton Hall also notched a modest 10 turnovers with a 32-16 advantage on points in the paint. The Pirates have scored 68 or more points in every game so far this season, but they’re doing even better on defense. Seton Hall has held opponents below 62 points in all five games as well.
As for NC State, they posted a nice shooting percentage (46.3) and rebounded well (43) in their latest win over VCU. Trouble is, the Wolfpack also coughed up 17 turnovers. NC State should provide a solid challenge for Seton Hall in this matchup, but I think the Pirates can power it out if all goes well.
