Tru Washington also has 9.5 PPG with 5.2 RPG and Nelly Junior Joseph has 9.2 PPG with 8 RPG as well this season. As a team, New Mexico is averaging 82.8 PPG on 45.4% shooting from the field, 30.6% from three and 74.5% from the foul line this season.
I’m going to back New Mexico here. I can appreciate the run that LA Tech is on, but right now, the Lobos are just playing really, really well and are always a tough out at the Pit. I’m just not sold on Louisiana Tech right now and while this is a fairly large number given the matchup, I think New Mexico gets it done with a win and cover in this one.
