North Dakota State went just 1-8 over their first nine games with a lone victory versus Crown College. The Bison would then beat Portland and Waldorf over the next trio. Since then it’s been two losses to Western Illinois and St. Thomas MN.
In the matchup versus the Tommies last Wednesday, the Bison trailed 34-30 at halftime. North Dakota State didn’t end up getting any closer from there in a 78-68 defeat. Both Grant Nelson and Jacari White posted 15 points apiece to lead the team.

PICK: I’ll probably stay with North Dakota in this one. That said, there’s not a lot of intrigue here unless you’re a fan of either team. Should be an entertaining game, however. In any case, North Dakota has been on a rough skid over the last six games, however they’ve hit 69 or more points in three of the last five games and should post a decent total in this one as well. As for North Dakota State, they’ve hit 67 or more points in six of their last seven outings and could make this one interesting if they’re playing well. I like this one to be very competitive, with the Hawks eking out a cover.
