Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview

The Georgia Bulldogs are 12-1 (0-0) this year after they defeated South Carolina State by a score of 79-72 in their last game. Georgia trailed 41-24 at halftime, but they scored 55 points in the second half for the win. The Bulldogs shot 54% from the field, 31.3% on three-pointers, and 64.5% on free throws in the game. RJ Godfrey led Georgia with 14 points and six rebounds, while Tyrin Lawrence added 14 points and three assists in the win.

Why Georgia will beat Ole Miss

  • Georgia has won each of its last seven games.
  • Georgia has won the first half in six of its last seven games.

Total Points Facts

  • Nine of Georgia’s last 10 games against AP-ranked opponents have produced a total of 147+ points.
  • Ten of Ole Miss’ last 12 day games against Conference opponents at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss have produced a total of 142 or fewer points.

Ole Miss vs Georgia Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup after successful non-conference schedules, but Ole Miss is coming off of a loss against a decent Memphis team. The Rebels are ranked #24 in the country, but their only solid win was against Louisville. Ole Miss is shooting 45.4% from the field and they have allowed 62 points or fewer in four of their last five. Georgia only has one loss on the season, but they do have wins against Notre Dame and St. John’s. The Bulldogs are shooting over 50% from the field and they have solid defensive numbers, but those are boosted because of a weak schedule. I don’t think either of these teams is as good as their records would indicate and I do think they are pretty evenly matched, so I will take the points with Georgia.
