The Auburn Tigers and the Oregon Ducks meet Monday in college basketball action from Michelob ULTRA Arena. Here’s an Oregon vs Auburn prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Oregon vs Auburn pick.
Auburn Tigers Betting Preview
The Tigers have put five games in the books so far this season, losing just one in that time. Auburn opened up with a matchup versus Bethune-Cookman that was tighter than it should have been: a 95-90 victory in overtime. The Tigers got back in the groove in game two though, taking a dominant 95-57 win over Merrimack. In their third outing, the Tigers rolled to another big win, this time 93-62 over Wofford. As for game four versus Houston, Auburn ended up taking their first loss of the season, dropping it 73-72 last weekend.
Matched up against Jackson State in Wednesday’s game, Auburn was able to get back on track with another blowout victory. The Tigers were up 55-24 by the end of the first half, then hit a 57-42 run the rest of the way in a 112-66 victory. Tops in scoring for Auburn was KeShawn Murphy with 19 points and seven rebounds. Filip Jovic added 18 points with three rebounds, and Simon Walker chipped in with 15 points in just eight minutes during the victory effort.
Oregon Ducks Betting Preview
Over on the Ducks’ side, they’ve got four games in the bag this year so far. Oregon was able to eke past Hawaii 60-59 in their opener on November 4, then powered past Rice 67-63 in game two. The Ducks would keep it going with a double-digit win over South Dakota State 83-69 on November 12. Leading the team in scoring during that victory was Jackson Shelstad with 22 points and eight assists. TK Simpkins added 20 points with two rebounds, and Nate Bittle had a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds alongside three assists for the Ducks.
In their latest outing last Monday versus Oregon State, the Ducks went into the break with a 41-34 edge. Oregon closed with another 46 points during an 87-75 win in the end at Matthew Knight Arena. Nate Bittle was tops on 24 points with seven rebounds, while Kwame Evans doubled up on 16 points with 14 rebounds. Jackson Shelstad added 22 points with three assists and two rebounds in 37 minutes as well.

Auburn vs Oregon Prediction
I’ll just stick with Auburn here. You could probably make a case either way, though. The Tigers have played a couple of close games this year, but that wasn’t the case in their latest outing versus Jackson State. Auburn rolled in that one, posting 64.6 percent from the field with a 30-22 rebounding edge, a 56-30 advantage on points in the paint, 28 team assists and just nine turnovers total. The Tigers have scored 72 or more points in every game so far this year.
As for Oregon, they played pretty well in their latest win over Oregon State. The Ducks shot 47.2 percent from the field with 35 rebounds and 10 turnovers in the 12-point outcome. Going up against Auburn is going to be tricky, though; the Ducks will need to be firing on offense in order to keep pace.
