Maryland Recap

The Maryland Terrapins come into this game looking to bounce back after a 75-69 loss to Washington last time out to fall to 11-3 on the year. After this game, Maryland will head home for a matchup against UCLA.

Ducks Have Three-Game Win Streak Snapped

Nate Bittle leads the Ducks in scoring and rebounding with 13.2 PPG and 8.2 RPG while Jackson Shelstad has 10.6 PPG with 3.1 RPG and a team-high 2.7 APG to lead the Ducks in assists. TJ Bamba has 10.4 PPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Oregon up to this point in the year. Brandon Angel has also added 9.9 PPG and 3.8 RPG and Keeshawn Barthelemy has 9.7 PPG while Jadrian Tracey has 8.7 PPG with 3.4 RPG and 2 APG as well this season. Total Points Facts

  • Each of Oregon’s last 10 day games against non-AP-ranked opponents has produced a total of 146 or fewer points.
  • Eleven of Maryland’s last 12 day games against Top 10 AP-ranked opponents have produced a total of 148 or fewer points.

Maryland vs. Oregon Prediction

I’m with Maryland and the points here. I know that the Matthew Knight Arena can be a tough place for opposing teams to go on the road and win most nights (apparently not for Illinois), I just think that Maryland is the more talented team here and if Oregon would be favored, I could only see it being by maybe a point or so. The Terps took one on the chin in their own right but I expect some positive regression for them going forward in a bounce-back effort here. I’m not sure they win the game outright, but I think Maryland at least keeps it close. Give me the Terrapins and the points.
