The Dayton Flyers and the Wyoming Cowboys meet in college basketball action from the United Center on Saturday night.

The Dayton Flyers will try to build on their 79-56 win over UNC-Asheville last time out. DaRon Holmes II leads the Flyers in scoring with 16.6 PPG along with 7.9 RPG while Mustapha Amzil has 10.5 PPG with 4.6 RPG and Toumani Camara also has 11 PPG and a team-high 9.1 PPG to lead the Flyers on the glass and also to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Dayton up to this point in the season. Mike Sharavjamts also has a team-high 3.4 APG as well this season. As a team, Dayton is averaging 65 points per game on 43.3% shooting from the field, 28% from three and 68.3% from the foul line this season.                                                                                                

The Wyoming Cowboys will be out to build on a 92-65 win over Louisiana Tech in their last outing. Hunter Maldonado leads the Cowboys in scoring with 13.6 PPG along with 4.1 RPG and 3.8 APG while Noah Reynolds has 13.4 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Wyoming up to this point in the season. Max Agbonkpolo has 9.9 PPG with 4.1 RPG while Brendan Wenzel has 9.9 PPG as well and Ethan Anderson has 7.4 PPG with 3.7 RPG and a team-high 3.8 APG to lead Wyoming in assists. Hunter Thompson also has a team-high 5.w RPG as well for the Cowboys on the glass this season. As a team, Wyoming is averaging 76.1 PPG on 45.4% shooting from the field, 34.8% from behind the arc and 70.3% from the foul line this season.

Dayton is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a win while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 Saturday games. Wyoming is 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after scoring 90 points or more in the previous game while the under is 6-1 in their last 7 neutral site games.

I get the case to be made for either side here, but I’m going to back the under in this one. If this game was in Wyoming, I could make a much stronger case for the Cowboys, but on a neutral floor, both teams, especially Wyoming, have taken a bit more methodical and lower-scoring approach to the games. I think this game will be tight, like a 64-61 kind of game whichever way it goes, but I like this one to finish under the number.
