Against Florida State in the first game, the defense gave up only 13 points, and the defense is going to need to be a whole lot better here. 

Michigan State Has Been Tested

Michigan State has been tested to start the season, but they still sit with a 3-0 record. To start the season Michigan State faced off against Florida Atlantic 16-10 and in the last game against Maryland they were able to secure the 27-24 victory. In the last game against Prairie View A&M, Michigan State scored 40 points while the defense gave up zero points. Aidan Chiles completed 12 of his 19 passes for 173 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Running back Nathan Carer had a strong game, finishing with eight carries for 91 yards and a touchdown. The offense was sure impressive, but the first two games the offense was inconsistent, and they are going to need the offense to be better. 

Boston College vs Michigan State Prediction

Boston College’s defense is going to step up in a big way here. Michigan State’s offense is a problem, and they are going to really struggle to get the offense going here. I don’t trust the quarterback play for Michigan State, and that is going to be the difference here. Michigan State is also going to step up with the defense.
