ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’m going to stick with Oklahoma State. The Cowboys certainly have their work cut out for them after Saturday’s embarrassing blowout loss to a sub-.500 UCF team. OK State finished with just 277 total yards (52 rushing), four turnovers, 15 first downs and an ugly 2-of-12 rate on third-down tries. Defensively the team gave up 592 yards (299 passing) and 34:45 in time of possession during the Cowboys’ worst performance in recent memory. This is a resilient team with a lot of talent however, and I think OK State can bounce back.
As for Houston, they posted a rough offensive outing versus Cincinnati with 241 yards (102 passing), 12 first downs and three picks. That makes 14 or fewer points in two of the last three games for the Cougars, and it’s not going to get any easier against an angry Oklahoma State team.
