ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably lean toward Miami-OH in this one, but I’m probably also staying away. The RedHawks collected another pretty solid victory versus Kent State over the weekend during a nice defensive performance. Miami-OH gave up just 206 yards (36 rushing), 14 first downs and 3-of-15 on third-down tries. The RedHawks weren’t all that impressive on the other side (292 total yards; 3-of-12 on third downs) but they took care of the ball well.
As for Bowling Green, they bounced back well from consecutive losses with their win over Georgia Tech back on Saturday. The Falcons will need to get off to a good start in this one and keep the offense humming along if they want to keep the pace. I don’t think Bowling Green will quite be able to get there.
