The Texas A&M Aggies and Alabama Crimson Tide square off Saturday night in a week 6 SEC college football contest from Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will try to keep the unbeaten run going after improving to 5-0 with a 42-21 win over Ole Miss last time out. Bryce Young has thrown for 1,365 yards, 17 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 73% passing while Brian Robinson Jr. leads the Tide with 379 rushing yards and 6 scores. Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams each have 100+ yards for the Tide, Jameson Williams leads Alabama with 364 receiving yards and John Metchie III has a team-high 27 catches for 275 yards while four other Alabama receivers have 100+ receiving yards this season. On defense, Henry To’o To’o has a team-high 35 total tackles while Phidarian Mathis has a team-high 3.5 sacks and Will Anderson Jr. has 3 sacks this season.

The Texas A&M Aggies will look to come into this one at 3-2 after a 26-22 loss to Mississippi State last time out. Zach Calzada leads the Aggies with 744 passing yards, 5 touchdowns and 4 picks on 53.9% passing while Isaiah Spiller leads the Aggies with 445 rushing yards and Devon Achane has 296 rushing yards with both Spiller and Achane logging a pair of touchdowns this season. Ainias Smith leads the Aggies with 20 catches for 200 yards while the Aggies have 5 other receivers with 100+ receiving yards this season. On defense, Antonio Johnson leads the Aggies with 41 total tackles while DeMarvin Leal has a team-high 4.5 sacks this season.

Alabama is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 conference games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in October while the over is 3-1-1 in their last 5 games following a win. Texas A&M is 11-23 ATS in their last 34 games in October and 9-22 ATS in their last 31 games following a loss while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 games as a home underdog.

I’m not sure what to make of the Aggies as historically they’ve been a threat to Alabama going back to the Johnny Manziel days and even slightly before that. With that said, I’m still siding with the over here as I expect the Tide to get their fair share of scoring done here and I think the Aggies match at points so give me the over.
