The Fresno State Bulldogs and the Wyoming Cowboys meet Saturday in college football action from War Memorial Stadium. Fresno State is fresh off a game versus Nevada last weekend. In that one the Bulldogs took a blowout win. As for Wyoming, they just finished up against New Mexico. The Cowboys would go on to win by nine points. ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’m going to take a stab on Fresno State. The Bulldogs are coming off a pretty decent showing versus an overmatched Nevada team, generating 410 total yards (269 passing), 19 first downs and 6-of-12 on third-down tries. Fresno State held the Wolf Pack to just 220 yards on the other side, and Nevada’s 10 penalties (98 yards) didn’t help them. That makes 27 or more points in every game so far this season for the Bulldogs.

As for Wyoming, they also benefitted from their opponent’s penalties (10 for 90 yards) in the New Mexico game, which helped cover up a rough 2-of-11 on third-down tries. The Cowboys are a pretty good offensive team in the right matchups, but I don’t think they’ll keep pace with Fresno State.
