This Friday morning, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with the second round of the 2025 3M Open. Let’s take a look at the second round of this tournament from a DFS perspective.
Before I discuss my Draftkings player selections for this week’s event let’s review where the second round of the 2025 3M Open will be played.
The 2025 3M Open will be played at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. TPC Twin Cities is a par 71 that measures approximately 7,431 yards.
*TPC Twin Cities has hosted the 3M Open since the event’s inception in 2019.
Jhonattan Vegas won the 2024 3M Open with a cumulative four round score of 17 under par.
I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups for this DFS slate.

Here are my DraftKings picks for the second round of the 2025 3M Open.
Draftkings Second Round Picks
Jake Knapp $9,400
Jake Knapp arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of three consecutive top 22 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fourth-place result at the 2025 Rocket Classic four weeks ago.
Due to Jake Knapp’s quality finish at the 2025 Rocket Classic I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to determine how Knapp fared relative to the field.
Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Rocket Classic, in relation to the field, Jake Knapp ranked second in driving distance (332.5), tenth in GIR (greens in regulation-80.3%), tenth in total birdies made (23) and sixth in bogey avoidance (4).
Upon the completion of this afternoon’s first round of the 2025 3M Open, Jake Knapp is currently tied for seventh place with a score of seven under par. In summary, I fully expect Jake Knapp to continue his outstanding play in tomorrow’s second round of the 2025 3M Open.
Chris Gotterup $10,200
The talented American has amassed two top three finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a win at the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open three weeks ago.
Emiliano Grillo $8,800
Emiliani Grillo has amassed five top 24 finishes in his last eight events played on the PGA Tour, including a 16th place result at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge in May.
Grillo also has an exceptional record when he plays at TPC Twin Cities. Since 2020, Grillo has played this week’s PGA Tour event five times. In those five tournaments just noted, Grillo accumulated three top ten finishes, including a second-place result at the 2022 3M Open.
Kurt Kitayama $8,600
Kurt Kitayama arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of two consecutive top 14 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2025 John Deere Classic three weeks ago.
