This week, the PGA Tour travels north of the border for the 2025 RBC Canadian Open. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2025 RBC Canadian Open.

Where will the RBC Canadian Open be played?

The 2025 RBC Canadian Open will be played at TPC Toronto at Osprey Village (North Course). The golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,389 yards.

Will the 2025 RBC Canadian Open have a traditional cut?

The 2025 RBC Canadian Open will have a field of 156 golfers to begin the event on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds of competitive play the top 65 golfers and ties will make the cut and move onto the third round. The remaining players will miss the cut.

2025 RBC Canadian Open Draftkings Picks

Rory McIlroy $11,900

Since the beginning of January, Rory McIlroy has played nine tournaments (PGA and DP World Tours combined). In those nine events just mentioned, McIlroy compiled seven top 15 finishes, including three wins (2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: 2025 Players Championship: 2025 Masters Tournament).

McIlroy is currently ranked first in strokes gained off the tee (0.776), sixth in strokes gained putting (0.627), third in driving distance (319.3), tenth in scrambling (67.02%), ninth in birdie or better percentage (25.17%), ninth in par five scoring average (4.51) and seventh in bogey avoidance (13.02%) on the PGA Tour.

Additionally, McIlroy has historically played well at this week’s PGA Tour event. Let me be more specific. Since 2019, McIlroy has played the RBC Canadian Open four times. In those four tournaments just noted, McIlroy has tallied four top nine finishes, including two wins (2019, 2022).

Corey Conners $10,100

The talented Canadian has accumulated eight top 25 finishes in his last nine events played on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational in March and an eighth-place result at the 2025 Masters Tournament in April.

Conners is currently ranked ninth in strokes gained off the tee (0.505), 18th in GIR (greens in regulation-69.03%), 20th in par four scoring average (3.99) and 13th in driving accuracy (67.72%) on the PGA Tour.

What did we learn from the data just presented? Clearly, Corey Conners is playing outstanding golf this season. With that said, I fully expect that trend to continue at this week’s 2025 RBC Canadian Open.

Sam Burns $9,300

Sam Burns has amassed four top 19 finishes in his last five events played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson last month.

Burns finished tenth at the 2024 RBC Canadian Open.

Nick Taylor $8,800

Nick Taylor has compiled two top 17 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fourth-place result at last week’s 2025 Memorial Tournament.

It is noteworthy that Nick Taylor has played well at Canada’s national open previously. Taylor won the 2023 RBC Canadian Open.

Gary Woodland $7,700

Two weeks ago, Gary Woodland fired a final round 66 at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge en route to an eventual 11th place finish.

Gary Woodland can certainly perform at a high level when the lights are shining the brightest. Let us not forget that Gary Woodland won the 2019 U.S. Open.

Additional golfers I like to perform well at this week’s 2025 RBC Canadian Open (Draftkings price noted): Ludvig Aberg $10,500: Shane Lowry $9.900: Eric Cole $8,100: Davis Riley $7,900.
