This week, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with one of the most prestigious events in all of golf, the 2025 Masters Tournament. Let’s take a look at this tournament from a DFS perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for the first major championship of the season, let’s take a quick look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a player’s success at this week’s 2025 Masters Tournament.

Where will the 2025 Masters Tournament be played?

The 2025 Masters Tournament will be played at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,555 yards.

Will the Masters Tournament have a traditional cut?

The 2025 Masters Tournament will have a field of 96 golfers to begin the event on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds of competitive play the top 50 players and ties will make the cut and move onto the third round. The remaining players will miss the cut.

2025 Masters Tournament Draftkings Picks

Rory McIlroy $11,100

Since the beginning of January, Rory McIlroy has played six tournaments (PGA and DP World Tours combined). In those six events just mentioned, McIlroy amassed a rather impressive five top 15 finishes, including two wins (2025 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: 2025 Players Championship).

Rory McIlroy certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. McIlroy is currently ranked first in strokes gained off the tee (0.857), 19th in strokes gained approach (0.592), tenth in strokes gained putting (0.593), sixth in driving distance (315.2), fourth in scrambling (69.23%), 11th in birdie or better percentage (25.83%) and tenth in bogey avoidance (12.22%) on the PGA Tour.

Additionally, Rory McIlroy has posted numerous quality finishes at Augusta National over the course of his career. More recently, McIlroy finished second at the 2022 Masters Tournament.

Collin Morikawa $10,500

The 2020 PGA Championship winner arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of five consecutive top 17 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a second-place result at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational last month.

Due to Collin Morikawa’s quality finish at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to determine how Morikawa fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational, in relation to the field, Collin Morikawa ranked fourth in strokes gained off the tee, fifth in strokes gained approach and fifth in strokes gained around the green.

It is noteworthy that Morikawa has posted a good result at this week’s major championship in the past. More specifically, Morikawa finished third at the 2024 Masters Tournament.

Patrick Reed $7,300

Patrick Reed has compiled six top 25 finishes in his last nine events played (LIV Golf and DP World Tours combined), including a seventh-place result at last week’s 2025 LIV Golf Miami event.

Yes, I know that Patrick Reed no longer plays on the PGA Tour. I also know that Reed has previously shown that he can play great golf at Augusta National Golf Club. The man has a green jacket after all. Let us not forget that Patrick Reed won the 2018 Masters Tournament.

Additional golfers I like play well at the 2025 Masters Tournament: Scottie Scheffler $12,400: Xander Schauffele $9,700: Min Woo Lee $8,500: Wyndham Clark $7,700: Sepp Straka $7,600: Keegan Bradley $7,000: Charl Schwartzel $6,200.
