In relation to this week’s 2024 Masters Tournament field, in the last 36 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffler ranks first in GIR (greens in regulation), first in strokes gained tee to green, first in strokes gained approach, and first in birdie or better percentage.

Additionally, Scheffler won the 2022 Masters Tournament.

Jordan Spieth $9,300

Last week, Jordan Spieth fired a final round 69 at the 2024 Valero Texas Open on his way to an eventual tenth place finish.

Due to Jordan Spieth’s quality result at the 2024 Valero Texas Open, I decided to take a hard look at the player statistics for the event to see how Spieth fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of play at the 2024 Valero Texas Open, Jordan Spieth ranked fourth in strokes gained off the tee (5.1), 16th in strokes tee to green (6.1), fourth in strokes gained on par fours (9.2), and fourth in total Draftkings points scored (92).

Jordan Spieth has posted quality results at Augusta National Golf Club multiple times in the past. Since 2014, Spieth has played the Masters Tournament ten times. In those ten events just noted, Spieth has accumulated an impressive seven top 11 finishes, including a win in 2015.

Shane Lowry $8,000

The 2019 Open Championship winner arrives at this week’s tournament in rather good form. Lowry has accumulated three top 19 finishes in his last four events played (PGA and DP World Tours combined), including a third-place result at the 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational last month.

In relation to this week’s 2024 Masters Tournament field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Shane Lowry ranks fifth in in birdie or better percentage, second in strokes gained approach, fourth in GIR (greens in regulation), and fourth in driving accuracy.
