2025 Memorial Tournament
May 31, 2025 10:00 am EDT

This Saturday morning, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with the third round of the 2025 Memorial Tournament. Let’s take a look at the third round of this tournament from a DFS perspective.

Before I discuss my Draftkings player selections for the third round of this week’s event let’s review where the 2025 Memorial Tournament will be played.

The 2025 Memorial Tournament will be played at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,569 yards.

*Scottie Scheffler won the 2024 Memorial Tournament with a four round cumulative score of eight under par.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups for this DFS slate.

For those readers that are not aware, the rules and scoring for DraftKings single round showdown contests are vastly different than the traditional classic contests offered by the platform.

If you need to review the specific rules for the single round showdown contests feel free to check out the DraftKings website.

Here are my DraftKings picks for the third round of the 2025 Memorial Tournament.

Draftkings Third Round Picks

Shane Lowry $9,300

Since the beginning of February, Shane Lowry has played nine events on the PGA Tour. In those nine tournaments just mentioned, Lowry has compiled six top 18 finishes, including an eighth-place result at the 2025 Valspar Championship in March.

Shane Lowry certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Lowry is currently ranked sixth in strokes gained approach (0.802), sixth in proximity to the hole (34’11), fourth in total strokes gained (1.502), 20th in scrambling (65.70%) and ninth in par three scoring average (2.98) on the PGA Tour.

What did we learn from the data just presented? Clearly, Shane Lowry is playing at a high-level entering tomorrow’s final round. With that said, I am backing Shane Lowry as my lead DFS selection for the third round of the 2025 Memorial Tournament.

Upon the completion of this afternoon’s third round of the 2025 Memorial Tournament, Shane Lowry is currently tied for fifth place with a three round cumulative score of three under par.

Ben Griffin $8,400

Ben Griffin arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top eight finishes on the PGA Tour, including a win at the 2025 Charles Schwab Challenge last week.

Collin Morikawa $10,400

Collin Morikawa has tallied seven top 17 finishes in his last ten tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a second-place result at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.

Collin Morikawa certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2021, Morikawa has played this week’s PGA Tour event four times. In those four tournaments just noted, Morikawa amassed two second place finishes, including a second-place result at the 2024 Memorial Tournament.

Upon the completion of today’s third round of the 2025 Memorial Tournament, Morikawa is tied for eighth place with a cumulative three round score of two under par.

Jacob Bridgeman $6,500

Earlier this month, Jacob Bridgeman fired a final round 65 at the 2025 Truist Championship en route to an eventual fourth place result.

Additional golfers I like to perform well in the third round of the 2025 Memorial Tournament (Draftkings price noted): Xander Schauffele $10,200: Jordan Spieth $8,300: Akshay Bhatia $7,700: Nick Taylor $7,300: Sam Burns $7,500.
