Draftkings Best 2024 Players Championship Final Round Picks

This Sunday, the PGA Tour presents Draftkings golf fans with the final round of the 2024 Players Championship.

Before I discuss my DFS player selections, let’s take a look at where the final round of this event will be played.

The final round of the 2024 Players Championship will be played at TPC Sawgrass (Stadium Course) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,725 yards.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Here are my final round DraftKings player selections for the final round of the 2024 Players Championship.

Draftkings Player Picks

Xander Schauffele $11,000

Since the beginning of January, Xander Schauffele has played six tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those six events just mentioned, Schauffele accumulated an impressive four top ten finishes, including a fourth-place result at the 2024 Genesis Invitational last month.

In relation to this week’s 2024 Players Championship field, in the last 36 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Xander Schauffele ranks ninth in GIR (greens in regulation), fifth in strokes gained tee to green, third in par four scoring, and seventh in bogey avoidance.

Upon the completion of this afternoon’s third round at the 2024 Players Championship, Schauffele is in solo first place with a score of 17 under par.

Matt Fitzpatrick $8,800

The 2022 U.S. Open winner has accumulated two top 21 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a 15th place result at last week’s 2024 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches two weeks ago.

Matt Fitzpatrick has also played well at TPC Sawgrass previously. Fitzpatrick finished ninth at the 2021 Players Championship.

Maverick McNealy $7,700

Maverick McNealy has accumulated two top 13 finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a sixth-place result at the 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open in February.

In relation to this week’s 2024 Players Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Maverick McNealy ranks 16th in strokes gained tee to green, 14th in strokes gained on par fours, and 15th in bogey avoidance.

C.T. Pan $7,000

C.T. Pan has accumulated two top 28 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2024 Mexico Open at Vidanta three weeks ago.
