2025 Procore Championship
September 11, 2025 10:00 am EDT

This week, the PGA Tour presents golf fans with the 2025 Procore Championship. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2025 Procore Championship.

Where will the Procore Championship be played?

The 2025 Procore Championship will be played at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California. This golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,123 yards.

Patton Kizzire won the 2024 Procore Championship with a cumulative four round score of 21 under par.

Procore Championship Key Player Statistics

  • Strokes Gained: Tee to Green
  • Strokes Gained: Approach
  • GIR (greens in regulation)
  • Strokes Gained: Par Fours
  • Bogey Avoidance
  • Birdie or Better Percentage

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

Procore Championship Draftkings Picks

Scottie Scheffler $14,400

Scottie Scheffler arrives at this week’s event on the heels of 14 consecutive top eight finishes on the PGA Tour, including a rather impressive four wins (2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson: 2025 PGA Championship: 2025 Memorial Tournament: 2025 Open Championship).

Scottie Scheffler certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Scheffler is currently ranked first in strokes gained approach (1.237), first in par four scoring average (3.90), first in overall strokes gained (2.667), sixth in GIR (greens in regulation-70.91%), first in strokes gained off the tee (0.724) and first in bogey avoidance (10.67%) on the PGA Tour.

What did we learn from the data just presented? Clearly, Scottie Scheffler is a generational talent that is playing outstanding golf in 2025. With that said, I fully expect that trend to continue at this week’s Procore Championship.

Justin Thomas $10,200

The two-time major champion has amassed four top 28 finishes in his last six tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a seventh-place result at the 2025 Tour Championship five weeks ago.

Justin Thomas certainly looks outstanding from an event/course history perspective. Let me be more specific. Since 2015, Justin Thomas has played this week’s PGA Tour four times. In those four tournaments just noted, Thomas tallied four top eight finishes, including a fourth-place result at the 2019 Procore Championship.

J.J. Spaun $9,200

The 2025 U.S. Open winner has compiled four consecutive top 25 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a second place result at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship last month. Spaun finished ninth at the 2020 Procore Championship.

Sami Valimaki $8,400

Sami Valimaki has amassed two top eight finishes in his last three tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including an impressive second place result at the 2025 Omega European Masters two weeks ago.

Harry Higgs $7,000

Harry Higgs has accumulated three top 28 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including a 25th place result at the 2025 3M Open in July.

It is noteworthy that Harry Higgs has played well at the Silverado Resort in the past. Higgs finished second at the 2020 Procore Championship.

Additional golfers I like to perform well at this week’s 2025 Procore Championship (Draftkings price noted): Sam Burns $9,700: Akshay Bhatia $8,700: Matt McCarty $8,200: Rico Hoey $7,600: Cameron Champ $7,400.
