This week, the PGA Tour presents Draftkings golf fans with the 2025 Puerto Rico Open. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a DFS perspective.
Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2025 Puerto Rico Open.
Where will the 2025 Puerto Rico Open be played?
The 2025 Puerto Rico Open will be played at the Grand Reserve Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,506 yards.
Brice Garnett won the 2024 Puerto Rico Open with a cumulative four round score of 19 under par.
Will the Puerto Rico Open have a cut?
The 2025 Puerto Rico open will have a field of 132 golfers to begin the event on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Puerto Rico Open the top 65 golfers and ties will make the cut and move onto the third round.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.
Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups for this PGA Tour DFS contest.
2025 Puerto Rico Open Draftkings Picks
Brice Garnett $8,800
Last week, Brice Garnett fired a final round 69 at the 2025 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches en route to an eventual 11th place finish.
Garnett certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Let me be more specific. Since 2020, Brice Garnett has played this week’s PGA Tour event five times. In those five tournaments just mentioned, Garnett compiled four top 20 finishes, including a win at the 2024 Puerto Rico Open.
Ben Kohles $7,700
Ben Kohles has amassed two top 25 finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a 21st place result at the 2025 American Express in January.
Similar to Brice Garnett, Ben Kohles has posted a good result at the Puerto Rico Open in the past. Kohles finished sixth at the 2024 Puerto Rico Open.
Adrien Dumont de Chassart $7,300
Adrien Dumont de Chassart arrives at this week’s PGA Tour event in rather good form. More specifically, Dumont de Chassart has compiled three consecutive top 24 finishes (PGA and Korn Ferry Tours combined), including an impressive eighth-place result at the 2025 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters four weeks ago.
In my view, Adrien Dumont de Chassart’s low Draftkings price of only $7,300 presents the best fantasy value of any golfer on this week’s slate.
Robby Shelton $7,000
The talented American has accumulated three top 17 finishes in his last five tournaments played (PGA and Korn Ferry Tours combined), including a 17th place result at the 2024 RSM Classic in November.
In summary, I fully expect Robby Shelton to continue his outstanding play at this week’s 2025 Puerto Rico Open.
Additional golfers I like to perform well at this week’s 2025 Puerto Rico Open (Draftkings price noted): Chan Kim $9,300: Matti Schmid $8,200: Vincent Whaley $7,800: Tyler Duncan $6,900: Aaron Baddeley $6,900.
