This Sunday morning, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with the final round of the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship. Let’s take a look at the final round of this tournament from a DFS perspective.

The 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship will be played at the Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,461 yards.

Davis Thompson $10,600

Davis Thompson arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top 19 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a 19th place result at the 2025 Procore Championship three weeks ago.

Due to Davis Thompson’s quality finish at the 2025 Procore Championship, I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to determine how Thompson fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Procore Championship, in relation to the field, Davis Thompson ranked 22nd in driving distance (307.8), 14th in driving accuracy (57.1%) and 18th in putts per GIR (1.698).

Additionally, Davis Thompson has posted a good result at the Country Club of Jackson in the past. Thompson finished 16th at the 2023 Sanderson Farms Championship.

Max Homa $9,300

The talented American has compiled two top 19 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth place result at the 2025 John Deere Classic in July.

Garrick Higgo $8,000

Since the beginning of March, Garrick Higgo has played 13 events on the PGA Tour. In those 13 events just noted, Higgo has amassed six top 27 finishes, including a win at the 2025 Corales Puntacana Championship in April. Garrick Higgo also finished third at the 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship.

Upon the completion of this afternoon’s third round of the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship, Garrick Higgo is currently in solo first place with a three round cumulative score of 18 under par.

Matt Kuchar $7,800

Matt Kuchar has tallied two top 13 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth place result at the 2025 John Deere Classic.

Mac Meissner $7,800

Mac Meissner has amassed two top 14 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive second place result at the 2025 Wyndham Championship in August.
