2024 Shriners Children’s Open Draftkings Picks
Taylor Pendrith $10,200
Taylor Pendrith has accumulated four top 14 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a fifth-place result at the 2024 3M Open in July.
Beau Hossler $9,500
The talented American arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top 11 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive second place result at the 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship two weeks ago.
Beau Hossler checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. In relation to this week’s 2024 Shriners Children’s Open field, in the last 24 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Hossler ranks tenth in GIR (greens in regulation), tenth in strokes gained tee to green, sixth in birdie or better percentage, ninth in bogey avoidance, ninth in strokes gained around the green, and seventh in total Draftkings points scored.
Hossler has posted a quality finish at TPC Summerlin in the past. More specifically, Beau finished seventh at the 2023 Shriners Children’s Open.
Justin Lower $7,200
Justin Lower has compiled two top 28 finishes in his last three tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a seventh-place finish at the 2024 Procore Championship three weeks ago.
In relation to this week’s 2024 Shriners Children’s field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Justin Lower ranks ninth in strokes gained approach, 20th in GIR (greens in regulation), seventh in birdie or better percentage, tenth in strokes gained putting, and 14th in total Draftkings points scored.
Similar to Beau Hossler, Justin Lower has played well at TPC Summerlin previously. Lower finished 20th at the 2022 Shriners Children’s Open.
In summary, I fully expect Justin Lower to continue his outstanding play at this week’s 2024 Shriners Children’s Open.
Additional golfers I like to perform well this week (Draftkings price noted): Seamus Power $9,300: Ben Griffin $8,200: Stephan Jaeger $9,900: Adam Hadwin $8,900: Daniel Berger $7,200: Chandler Phillips $7,100.
