Draftkings Tour Championship Third Round Picks 8/23/25

This Saturday, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with the third round of the 2025 Tour Championship. Let’s take a look at the third round of this tournament from a DFS perspective.

Before I discuss my Draftkings player selections for this week’s event let’s review where the third round of the 2025 Tour Championship will be played.

The 2025 Tour Championship will be played at East Lake Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,490 yards.

*Scottie Scheffler won the 2024 Tour Championship with a cumulative four round score of 30 under par.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups for this DFS slate.

Here are my DraftKings picks for the third round of the 2025 Tour Championship.

Draftkings Third Round Picks

Tommy Fleetwood $10,300

Tommy Fleetwood arrives at this week’s event on the heels of two consecutive top four finishes on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2024 FedEx St. Jude Championship two weeks ago. It should also be mentioned that Tommy Fleetwood finished ninth at the 2023 Tour Championship.

Fleetwood also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. Fleetwood is currently ranked third in overall strokes gained (1.585), second in strokes gained tee to green (1.286), seventh in strokes gained approach (0.715), eighth in par four scoring average (3.97) and third in overall scoring average (69.45) on the PGA Tour.

Upon the completion of this afternoon’s second round of the 2025 Tour Championship, Tommy Fleetwood is currently in tied for first place with a two round cumulative score of 13 under par.

In summary, I fully expect Tommy Fleetwood to continue his outstanding play in tomorrow’s third round of the 2025 Tour Championship.

Russell Henley $9,500

Russell Henley arrives at the 2025 Tour Championship on the of heels six consecutive top 17 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a second-place result at the 2025 Travelers Championship in June. Henley also finished fourth at the 2024 Tour Championship. Henley also won the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.

Patrick Cantlay $8,400

The talented American has tallied three top 12 finishes in his last seven events played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive ninth place result at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship two weeks ago.

Shane Lowry $6,500

Since the beginning of March, Shane Lowry has played 15 tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those 15 events just noted, Lowry amassed nine top 23 finishes, including a 13th place result at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open.

Upon the completion of this afternoon’s third round of the 2025 Tour Championship, Shane Lowry is currently in a tie for seventh place with a two round cumulative score of seven under par.
