This week, the PGA Tour presents Draftkings golf fans with the 2025 Valspar Championship. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a DFS perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2025 Valspar Championship.

Where will the 2025 Valspar Championship be played?

The 2025 Valspar Championship will be played at at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. This track is a par 71 that measures 7,352 yards.

Peter Malnati won the 2024 Valspar Championship with a cumulative four round score of 12 under par.

Will the Valspar Championship have a traditional cut?

The 2025 Valspar Championship will have a field of 156 golfers to begin the event on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds of competitive play the top 65 golfers and ties will make the cut and move onto the third round. The remaining players will miss the cut.

2025 Valspar Championship Key Player Statistics

  • Strokes Gained: Off the Tee
  • GIR (greens in regulation)
  • Birdie or Better Percentage
  • Strokes Gained: Approach
  • Driving Accuracy
  • Bogey Avoidance

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest! Keep that in mind as you construct your lineups for this PGA Tour DFS contest.

2025 Valspar Championship Draftkings Picks

Tommy Fleetwood $10,300

The talented Englishman arrives at this week’s event on the heels of three consecutive top 14 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fifth-place result at the 2025 Genesis Invitational in February.

Tommy Fleetwood certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Fleetwood is currently ranked fifth in overall strokes gained (1.539), fourth in strokes gained tee to green (1.483), second in strokes gained approach (1.076) and 16th in overall scoring average (70.46) on the PGA Tour.

Additionally, Tommy Fleetwood finished third at the 2023 Valspar Championship.

Sepp Straka $10,000

Since the beginning of January, Sepp Straka has played nine tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those nine events just noted, Straka amassed seven top 15 finishes, including a win at the 2025 American Express in February.

Joseph Bramlett $8,400

Joseph Bramlett has compiled two top 22 finishes in his last three events played (PGA and Korn Ferry Tours combined), including a third-place result at the 2025 Puerto Rico Open two weeks ago.

Due to Joseph Bramlett’s quality finish at the 2025 Puerto Rico Open I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to determine how Bramlett fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2025 Puerto Rico Open, in relation to the field, Joseph Bramlett ranked first in driving distance (317.9), 11th in driving accuracy (67.9%), ninth in overall putting average (1.635), eighth in total birdies made (22) and second in bogey avoidance (2).

It is noteworthy that Joseph Bramlett has posted a good result at the Copperhead Course in the past. More specifically, Bramlett finished 17th at the 2024 Valspar Championship.

Additional golfers I like to perform well at this week’s PGA Tour event (Draftkings price noted): Tom Kim $9,200: Adam Scott $8,300: Taylor Moore $8,600: Luke Clanton $8,500: Kevin Roy $7,100: Jacob Bridgeman $7,400.
