This week, the DP World Tour travels to Rome, Italy for the 2022 Italian Open.
Before I discuss my favorite tournament matchup bet for the 2022 Italian Open let’s take a look at the current leaders in scoring average on the DP World Tour that are in this week’s field.

Since the beginning of April, Adrian Meronk has played 11 tournaments on the DP World Tour. In those 11 events just mentioned, Adrian Meronk has accumulated five top six finishes, including a win at the 2022 Irish Open in July.
In relation to this week’s current listed Italian Open field, in the last three months of competitive golf played on the DP World Tour, Adrian Meronk ranks sixth in GIR (greens in regulation-72.5%) and 20th in putting average (1.734).
I also like the fact that Meronk has played well at this week’s DP World Tour event in the past. More specifically, Adrian Meronk finished second at the 2021 Italian Open.
