This week, the PGA Tour travels to Minnesota for the 2023 3M Open.

*The 2023 3M Open will be played at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. The golf course is a par 71 that measures approximately 7,431 yards. TPC Twin Cities has been the host course for the 3M Open since the event’s debut on the PGA Tour in 2019. 

Before I dive into my favorite prop bets for this week’s PGA Tour event let’s take a quick look at the top five golfers in overall scoring average on the PGA Tour that are in this week’s 2023 3M Open field.

1. Tony Finau 69.80

2. Sungjae Im 70.03

Now that we have determined who the current top five golfers with regard to overall scoring are on the PGA Tour (in this week’s 3M Open field) let’s shift our attention to my favorite prop bets for the 2023 3M Open.

Top South American: Emiliano Grillo -140

Since the beginning of April, Emiliano Grillo has played ten tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those ten events just mentioned, Emiliano Grillo accumulated six top 23 finishes, including an impressive win at the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge in May. 

It should also be noted that Emiliano Grillo finished second at the 2022 3M Open.

Top 20 Finish: Lucas Glover +450

Lucas Glover arrives at this week’s 2023 3M Open on the heels of three consecutive top six finishes on the PGA Tour, including a fourth place result at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic earlier this month.

Additionally, Lucas Glover finished seventh at the 2019 3M Open.

Top Ten Finish: Sungjae Im +240

The talented South Korean has accumulated two top 24 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a 20th place result at last week’s 2023 Open Championship.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 3M Open field, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Sungjae Im ranks seventh in strokes gained tee to green and fifth in birdie or better percentage. 

In summary, I am backing Sungjae Im to post a top ten finish at odds of +240.
