2023 BMW PGA Championship: Tournament Prop Bets, Odds 9/14/23

This week, the DP World Tour travels to England for the 2023 BMW PGA Championship.

The 2023 BMW PGA Championship will be played at the Wenworth Club (West Course) in Surrey England. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,267 yards. 

Before we discuss my favorite prop bets for the 2023 BMW PGA Championship let’s take a look at the current leaders in overall scoring average on the DP World Tour in this week’s tournament field.

Top Five Golfers in Scoring Average

1.  Alexander Bjork 69.35

2. Nocolai Hojgaard 69.51

3. Min Woo Lee 69.68

4. Nathan Kimsey 69.75

5. Matt Wallace 69.80

Now that we have determined who the top five golfers with regard to overall scoring average are in this week’s field let’s shift our attention to my favorite tournament prop bets for the 2023 BMW PGA Championship.

Here are two golfers to consider placing on your card to finish in the top five.

Shane Lowry +400

The 2019 Open Champion fired a final round 68 at last week’s 2023 Horizon Irish Open en route to an eventual third place finish.

I also like the fact that I know Shane Lowry has performed well in this golf tournament in the past. More specifically, Shane Lowry won the 2022 BMW PGA Championship.    

Tommy Fleetwood +330

Tommy Fleetwood arrives at this week’s event on the heels of five conseuctive top 25 finishes (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a third place result at the 2023 FedEx St. Jude Championship in August.

Additionally, Tommy Fleetwood finished 12th at the 2023 BMW PGA Championship.

Billy Horschel +320

Billy Horschel has accumulated two top 13 finishes in his last three tournaments played (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a fourth place result at the 2023 Wyndham Championship in July.

Horschel won the 2021 BMW PGA Championship.
