Grant Thornton Invitational
2023-12-08 10:00:00 EDT
This week, the LPGA and PGA Tours have joined forces to present golf bettors with the Grant Thornton Invitational.
Before I dive into my favorite bets for the 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational let’s take a quick look at the golf course and the key player statistics that I feel are the most vital to a golfer’s success this week.
The 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational will be played at Tiburon Golf Club (Gold Course) in Naples, Florida. The golf course hosts the CME Group Tour Championship on the LPGA Tour on an annual basis.
The key player statistics that I will be looking at this week are driving distance, GIR (greens in regulation), strokes gained approach, and strokes gained putting.
Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite bets for the inaugural 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational.
Here is a team to consider placing on your card to win the Grant Thornton Invitational.
Tony Finau/Nelly Korda +550
Last week, Tony Finau fired a final round 67 on his way to an eventual fourth place finish. Finau’s teammate is also playing outstanding golf on the LPGA Tour. More specifically, Nelly Korda has accumulated two top eight finishes in her last three events played on the LPGA Tour, including an eighth place result at the 2023 Maybank Championship last month.
Here is a team to consider placing on your card to finish in the top five.
Ludvig Aberg/Madelene Sagstrom +100
Ludvig Aberg has accumulated seven consecuive top ten finishes (DP World and PGA Tours combined), including a win at the 2023 RSM Classic four weeks ago.
Aberg’s teammate is also playing well. Madelene Since the beginning of September, Madelene Sagstrom has played seven tournaments on the LPGA Tour. In those seven events just noted, Sagstrom has accumulated four top 26 finishes, including a 16th place result at the 2023 CME Group Tour Championship last month.
