2023 Horizon Irish Open
2023-09-07 02:00:00 EDT

This week, the DP World Tour presents golf bettors with the 2023 Horizon Irish Open.

The 2023 Horizon Irsh Open will be played at the K Club near Dublin, Ireland. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,350 yards. The last time the K Club hosted the Horizon Irish Open was in 2016.

Before I discuss my favorite tournament prop bets for this week’s Horizon Irish Open let’s take a look at the current top five golfers (in this week’s field) in overall scoring average on the DP World Tour.

Top Five Golfers in Scoring Average

1. Alexander Bjork 69.29

2. Nathan Kimsey 69.63

3. Min Woo Lee 69.73

4. Adrian Meronk 69.85

5. Thorbjorn Olesen 69.87

Now that we have determined who the top five golfers with regard to overall scoring average are in this week’s tournament field, let’s shift our focus to my favorite tournament prop bets for the 2023 Horizon Irish Open.

Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top ten.

Billy Horschel +320

The talented American arrives at this week’s DP World Tour event on the heels of two consecutive top 13 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fourth place result at the 2023 Wyndham Championship four weeks ago.

It should also be noted that Billy Horschel has found success on the DP World Tour previously. An illustration of my previous statement can clearly be seen in Billy Horschel’s win at the prestigious BMW PGA Championship in 2021.

Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.

Fabrizio Zanotti +400

If you are looking for a golfer that presents outstanding value to the golf bettor look no further as I have found your man. That man’s name is Fabrizio Zanotti. Why? Let me explain.

Fabrizio Zanotti arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of two consecutive top 24 finishes on the DP World Tour, including a fourth place result at the 2023 Real Czech Masters two weeks ago.

Additionally, Zanotti finished fourth at the 2022 Horizon Irish Open.

For me, Fabrizio Zanotti presents the best value to the golf bettor relative to that of any other golfer in this week’s tournament field.
