This week, the LPGA Tour travels to Galloway, New Jersey for the 2023 ShopRite LPGA Classic.
Before I discuss my favorite tournament matchup bets for the 2023 ShopRite LPGA Classic let’s take a look at the current leaders in scoring average on the LPGA Tour that are in this week’s field.
Top Five Golfers in Scoring Average

2. Georgia Hall 69.72

Now that we have determined who the top five golfers with regard to scoring average are on the LPGA Tour lets shift our focus to my favorite tournament matchup bets for the 2023 ShopRite LPGA Classic.
Brooke Henderson -120 over Ayaka Furue
Since the beginning of January, Brooke Henderson has played nine tournaments on the LPGA Tour. In those nine events just noted, Brooke Henderson has accumulated four top 17 finishes, including a win at the 2023 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament Of Champions.
If you are looking for a golfer that has a history of posting outstanding results at this week’s LPGA event look no further as I have found that player. That player’s name is Brooke Henderson. Let me be more specific. Henderson has played the ShopRite LPGA Classic four times since 2019. In those four tournaments just mentioned, Henderson has accumulated four top 11 finishes, including a win at the 2022 ShopRite LPGA Classic.
Georgia Hall -115 over Hae Ran Ryu
Georgia Hall has accumulated five top ten finishes in her last seven tournaments played on the LPGA Tour, including a second place result at the 2023 Los Angeles Open earlier this year.
Georgia Hall is currently ranked 16th in GIR (greens in regulation-71.76%) and third in total birdies made (140) on the LPGA Tour.
It should also be noted that Georgia Hall finished 18th at the 2020 ShopRite LPGA Classic.
