This week, the PGA Tour travels to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida for the 2023 Players Championship.
Before I discuss my favorite golf bet for the 2023 Players Championship let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play this week.
The 2023 Players Championship will be played at the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course is a par 72 that measures 7,256 yards. In my opinion, this track can be best described as a classical golf course. Weather can also be a major factor on this track. If the wind begins to blow this week, we could see some high scores.
Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite golf bet for this week’s 2023 Players Championship.

Jason Day +320
Since the beginning of January, Jason Day has played five tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those five events just mentioned, Jason Day accumulated an impressive five top 18 finishes, including a ninth place result at the 2023 Genesis Invitational three weeks ago.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Players Championship field, in the last eight rounds played on the PGA Tour, Jason Day ranks seventh in scrambling, eighth in strokes gained around the green, and 15th in birdie or better percentage.
I also like the fact that Jason Day has posted quality results at this week’s PGA Tour event in the past. More specifically, Jason Day won the 2016 Players Championship.
